The Albury Wodonga Regional Tourism Forum Inc is an independent, grassroots driven association made up of members with an interest in tourism from around the region. The main objective of the Forum is to be pro-active and facilitate an increase in tourism and create new tourism products.

The Forum believes that tourism plays a vital role in the region’s economy and that the industry can only be strengthened when operators work together in a cohesive way. This co-operation lead to the production of the highly successful Albury Wodonga Regional Tourism Guide that was produced four years ago.

Over 400,000 copies of this Guide have been distributed with a 6th edition released in January 2007. Members are listed on the Guide and appear on our Website (includes text, photograph and/or logo and a direct link to your site).

Currently, the Forum is undertaking the blending of the accommodation and attractions of the Albury Wodonga region with tourism operators. The Forum has been targeting the lucrative coach market for the past two years. This strategy has allowed members to derive measurable benefits.

The Forum provides its members with:

  • Regular meetings and newsletters
  • Networking opportunities
  • Access to other members skill and knowledge
  • Represent members interests to regional economic groups
  • Provide a pro tourism forum offering an opportunity for members to voice their views
  • Through communication, generate dynamics into tourism promotion of our region
  • Joint promotional activities between members of the forum and other organisations
  • Sponsorship and funding actively sought for marketing campaigns including new product development.
